Selling items

You must have the legal right to sell any item you present. We may request identification, refuse a transaction or ask for additional information. Payment method and timing depend on the completed transaction and any applicable requirements.

Cash Payment Policy

At FairGold Montreal, the safety of our customers and employees is a priority. To promote secure and transparent transactions, we have introduced the following cash payment limits:

• When selling your gold, silver, or platinum to FairGold: Cash payouts are limited to CAD $10,000 per transaction. Larger amounts can be paid by Interac e-transfer, business cheque, or a combination of accepted payment methods.
• When purchasing gold or silver bullion from FairGold: Cash payments must be less than CAD $10,000. Interac e-transfer and debit payments are available for larger purchases.

These measures are intended to enhance transaction security and reduce the risks associated with handling large amounts of cash.

All transactions remain subject to applicable identification and regulatory requirements. Transactions cannot be divided to circumvent cash limits or reporting obligations.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit false or unlawful material, or use site content in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
