How do you test the karat of my gold?
Every item is tested by XRF (X-ray fluorescence), which measures its actual elemental composition, and you watch the reading during the appraisal. Because XRF reads true purity instead of relying on a hallmark or a scratch test, a piece that measures 17.1K is paid as 17.1K rather than being rounded down to the karat below.
What karats of gold do you buy?
We buy 10K, 14K, 18K, 21K, 22K and 24K, along with unmarked and mismatched pieces. Broken chains, single earrings, bent rings, dental gold and gold watch cases are all accepted, because condition does not change the gold content.
How is the price of my gold calculated?
Your offer combines four things: the XRF-verified purity, the payable gold weight, the market-linked buying rate updated daily from live spot data supplied by MetalPriceAPI, and the volume tier that applies to your total weight.
Are gemstones and non-gold parts included in the weight?
No. Stones, watch movements, clasps and other non-gold components are excluded or accounted for separately, so the offer reflects payable gold weight only.
Do I need an appointment to sell gold?
